Côme Laguë founded Nueva Ventures in 2005, as one of the first of the new genre
of Silicon Valley venture capital firms meeting the needs of entrepreneurs who
choose to launch their startups with less capital. For the past four years, Côme
has managed Nueva Ventures’ first fund which made investments in 8 companies.
His board involvement includes Collarity, Pharmacy TV Network, Rivalwatch,
Validare and W&W Communications. |

J. Neil Weintraut
has been involved with Internet businesses dating back to its initial commercialization in 1994. Prior to joining Nueva Ventures in 2008, Neil co-founded and co-ran 21st Century Internet Venture Partners (21VC), a standard venture capital firm focusing on Internet businesses and produced five public-offerings and one significant acquisition out of 18 total investments.
At 21VC Neil's investment and board involvement included CareerBuilder (OTC-CBDR and subsequently acquired by Knight-Ridder), AdForce (OTC-ADFC and subsequently acquired by CMGI), Nextance (acquired by Versata).
